Students MUST have parents sign the permission form to miss classes and travel to the game. All forms are due Wednesday morning to the front desk by 10 a.m. See form here.
Boys Soccer
Riverdale completed a thrilling 1-0 victory over De La Salle on Saturday to once again secure their place in the OSAA state playoffs. The Mavericks are returning for the fifth consecutive year and have only missed the playoffs once since 2005. The team enters this year’s playoff as the No. 5 seed and will host Delphian School on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Lewis and Clark College for a 12:30 p.m. game start time.
Cross Country
Congrats to senior Zach Rector who took first place at the district championship meet on Nov. 2. The Riverdale boys cross country team took third place out of 10 teams to qualify once again for the OSAA state championships. The girls team took fourth place, just missing the cutoff for the state meet. The Mavericks are making their seventh consecutive trip to the championship event. The OSAA state meet will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Lane Community College in Eugene.
Admissions to all state championship events are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Additionally, there is a $5 parking charge at Lewis and Clark College for all events held on its campus.
Teaching students to be thoughtful in their education,
about each other, and for their community.
