Past work experience: OHSU Rehabilitation Services Department: Outpatient for 8 years. I am currently working in the OHSU Sports Medicine Clinic at Gabriel Park with the Sports Medicine physicians, mainly focusing on the OHSU Concussion Management program.  My clinical experience mainly includes working with sports related injuries, pre- and post-operative rehab, concussion baseline testing using ImPACT software program, training on devices: Biodex 4 Isokinetic testing platform, Lokomat, F.E.S bike, A.M.E.S device, ReWalk exoskeleton, I-Mobility lab, and OHSU runner’s clinic.  My outreach experience includes: Head Athletic Trainer at Wilson High school for 8 years prior to my current position at OHSU Sports Medicine. I am now working with St. Mary’s Academy and Riverdale High/Grade School. I also have worked with all Portland Public school programs, Central Catholic HS as well as many club sport teams such as: Rose City Rollers, Wilson Lacrosse, Lincoln Lacrosse, Portland Equestrian club, and the Portland Pigs rugby team. Outreach tasks mainly included evaluation and treatment of acute, sub-acute, and chronic orthopedic and sports related injuries. This included sideline assessments, on campus walk- in clinics, and developing concussion management and ACL prevention programs for many of the high schools and clubs teams mentioned above.

Education: BS Health and Human Performance: Athletic Training from George Fox University 2007

Memberships: National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2007, NW Athletic Trainers’ Associations since 2007, Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society since 2007, Member of the OSAA Concussion task force 2015

My hobbies include basketball, football, golf, tennis, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
